Studley St Mary’s CE Academy
Designing a new school banner that reflects their identity today (2012)
The children asked themselves the question of why their school is important to them, why it is special.
The project involved the WHOLE school, local community and church, creating further links for the school to the community with the help of a great group of intergenerational volunteers.
Inspiration taken from Coventry Cathedral, which is where the banner would have its first display.
Self initiated project through the Board of Governors.
