Ragley Arty Afternoon Workshop
Our first Ragley Arty Afternoon was a really informal workshop taking in the architecture of the Hall and the panoramic views. Use the opportunity to develop your chosen practice, as a chance to try some new techniques or even mix them up, beginners are very welcome.
This is a very relaxed session to sketch/paint and enjoy conversation with other artists in a different environment which cannot fail to inspire. The stables are located very close to the Hall which is placed beautifully on top of the hill so lots of walking is not necessary to gain some stunning view points.
Looking forward to the next one.

Warwickshire Open Studio Event 29th June – 14th July 2013
St Benedicts High School, Alcester
A great visit from the year 10 Art group from St Benedicts RC High School, Alcester.
Some talented young artists who are developing a project about architecture chose to use Ragley for further inspiration. The students visited the Gallery and Studios where they sketched some of the details of the fabric of the building and the stable yard that houses the Gallery. We then visited the Hall to capture some of the details of the splendid 17th C Architecture.
